ball bearing turbo

what's up. i bought a rb20 det last month and it had a ball bearing turbo. what is the difference between this and an ordinary one?

the ordinary one uses bushings instead of Ball Bearings....the Ball bearings turbo's spool up faster and earlier and runs more freely...and also last longer

and are more expensive to rebuild

The RB20det
That comes with a ball bearing ceramic turbo?

a well maintained GTBB turbo shouldn't need a rebuild, infact 'you' cant really rebuild them at all (cause of the precise balancing/assembly/parts etc thats needed), you need to replace the CHRA

pssssht....like hell yeah! So much so that if you eff up a bb turbo, mite be easier to toss de mof'fin ting in ah bin and buy another.
