you'll get noise once u change the existing exhaust to an aftermarket one....if u put on a tip alone you wont get any noise..

Yeah, just change the tip alone, you won't get the noise.

but to me changing d tip to a round one is wat does cause d noise...so all them cars that making noise have aftermarket exhaust piping....might be wrong but that kinda hard to believe

not pipin...sigh...the exhaust itself..once u change the original to an aftermarket one you would get noise since the after market one doesnt damper the sound comin out from it.....

what he means is, the cars that make the noise they took out the silencer and put the exhaust that u want. If you dont want the noise you can keep your original silencer an jus put on a tip at the end of the muffler

ok.....let me rephrase the question.....i wanna put in a tip that has a round suppose to be muffler/silencer like the last one on this page http://www.qwkwhip.com/mufflers.html ....isnt it true that these mufflers are replaced by the user to allow some sort of noise?i am almost certain this one will give off sound.....wat i wanna kno is how to eliminate this noise when it is installed( i will be replacing the original silencer to accommodate the new barrel(if that is wat it's called)

dat one? yeh u gonna get noise. If you dont want noise then STAY STOCK OR GET A TIP ALONE! what u show in the link is a exhaust barrel/muffler..... sacrifices quietness for slight performance gain due to less restriction.

what is dis u sayin bout "replacing the original silencer to accomodate the new barrel"? u can't have both. U REMOVE the stock 'girlie-looking' silencer and install one of these mufflers.

It seems u just wat a tip though.... piece of metal that does nothing and tries to look half as kool lol

yea that one.........i've been told that i can either put another resonator higher up by the stock one to help or i can get an exhaust barrel with a built in silencer.....wat i also wanna kno is can i modify that barrel(pic) and have my own "built in silencer"

a resonator makes your exhaust more quiet.
And theres not really a quiet aftermarket muffler.
