W.T.K What engine to put into a laser

Postby dandadda007 » June 25th, 2010, 1:15 pm

Thinking about purchasing a laser shell but only if i get some good feedback concerning putting in an engine. What is a good reliable CHEAP engine that would go into a laser with minimal costs as far as installation is concerned? I'm not into speed, and don't care about cross-breeding just want something to get from point A to point B that has low maintenance costs. Average engine prices won't hurt, Also what is a fair offering price for a good complete laser shell? Thanks!!!!!!

See if you can find a number for the Laser Doctor in Warrenville, i dont have it anymore but...well..he has laser engines. Also check Tony from Freeport. He has a few Lasers and Kias in his yard.

The engine from a 323 GLX/LX should also work as well as those from a few small Kias like the Pride.

2-3K should cover you for engine and tranny
