CK4 is the model from PBE to PBH or thereabouts... similar to the CK2.. just different lights and grill.. also most of the CK2's in Trinidad were carb with the later ones being injected
well actully, ck2 is the 1.5 model lancer. They had them from pba back to pbj. CK4 is the 1.6 lancer. They just did a facelift for the 98 model but kept the same bodystyle.
CK1, CK2, CK3 and CK4 share the same body styles from PBA to PBJ.
The differences in numbers correspond to the different engines: eg CK1 = 1.3cc, CK4 = 1.6cc,etc.
The majority of the roro Lancers from Japan are CK2.
These are the ones with the crystal lights in the front and the red & clear dummy lights on the trunk lid, with the completely orange front indicators.
CK1=1.3
CK2=1.5...Local ones were smaller headlights and carb SOHC;foreign were big lights and fuel injected DOHC
CK4=1.6 SOHC or DOHC MIVEC big light or small light
So it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with big light or small light.Is the engine that denotes whick CK it is
