Massey recommends you use Castrol. Can't recall the body. They also say they have to send a report back to Nissan every service so you gotta face them and their ridiculous prices.

Hey fellas good night quick question if I'm looking to get rid of my van {frontier 4x4} and get one of these do you guys think it's worth it or should I go for a navara as an upgrade? If I go with the xtrail I would like to get the version with the sunroof. .. what are your take on local used vs foreign used... both roughly have the same mileage but the cost factor is in favor of the local used...

Local used > foreign. 99.9% of foreign used mileage is rolled back. Also Japan has snow and as a result of the salted roads it can cause alot of underbody rust, seen it on a good few of those subaru Impreza hatches. Additionally you can get a whole service history from a responsible owner.

The fuel tank capacity is 65L

Using super that should be 65L x $2.70 = $175.50

Maybe some maths are not adding up Rajiv.
Ro-Ro X-Trails arrive on the Port with the gas warning light on always. (Shipping regulations require minimal gasoline, that's why dealers walk with gasoline)
At the Wrightson Road station, it takes about $50 for the light to come off.
The total bill is hardly above $150.

This has happened many times.
Peace.

Ok, well i stand corrected then, not 100% certain about the tank size tho, that 65L was from a quick google search.

Finally received my t31 about two weeks ago

Filled up on saturday, fuel gauge reading was showing two blocks and it took 145.00 to fill up.

Not sure how much fuel is represented by one block though.

It is 65L. The ones from massey seem to be the 2.5 Ti Trim.
