Postby truemail30 » November 2nd, 2007, 12:19 am

my b15 keeps cutting off while driving i`ve cleaned the injectors and had a diagnostic scan done with no apparent results.i noticed somtimes the idle speed drops and i get a little rough idle sometimes, when the car cuts off all i do is put it in neutral and start and it works fine for a while sometimes for a day or two, does ayone have anidea as too what is cusing this?

i have a problem like this. happened once, then it happened when i put on the a/c. Them, it got worse. As soon as i start, it would cut off in about 3 secs. i took out my idle air control valve and cleaned it up. it started to work like good again. the about two weeks lata it cut off while reversin. I checked my cam sensor yesterday and it seems to have a slight wear point. Check those stuff. I monitoring mine.

I KNOW WHAT IS UR PROBLEM I HAVE A WINGROAD AND HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. ITS THE SAME ENGINE AND SENSORS. ITS UR SENSOR THAT IS THE PROBLEM. THERE ARE TWO SENSORS THAT ARE EXACTLY THE SAME.THE CAM AND THE CRANK SENSOR. THE EASIER ONE TO CHECK IS THE ONE ON TOP.TRY CHANGING THAT ONE FIRST.IF IT STILL SHUTS DOWN WHEN IT IS HOT THEN U HAV TO GO UNDER THE CAR WITH BOTH WHEELS OFF THE GROUND TO CHANGE IT. BETTER U GET A MECHANIC TO CHANGE IT. PLEASE BUY IT ORIGINAL WITH THE GUARANTEE. CALL ME IF U WANT TO BUY IT FOR $200 ORIGINAL I KNOW WHERE. PH 3191772  :P

Had a similar issue; changed the cam and crank sensors and did not help. Problem was actually the fuel pump. Buy original or Walboro if this is the case.

to take the sensor under the car is not as easy as you think , sometimes it could even break into two, then what .

I think you should pay for what he knows, most times you have to change this sensor the engine is still hot , a man could get burn etc ,
look pay the 100 dollars na man, let a man live, what about all the free advice on this forum?
