What parts did you use to turbo it ? ( be very specific )

Check for vacume leaks( all vacume hoses and intercooler piping connections and BOV )

i think you are getting too much gas if you are not using a recirculation valve then when the throttle close the maf have already recorded the amount of air pulled through
by the turbo and this will cause the car to stall
as picasso ask whats your set up when we know this we can be more helpful

When I hear car cutting off at a stop first thing I think of is someone having a vented BOV. Venting the BOV causes the ECU to change the mixture due to unmetered air and causes backfires and hunting idle at a red light and the occasional stall. Route the BOV vent via a hose to in between the turbo and the MAF on the intake pipe. Let me know if that solves it, if not then you may be experiencing boost leak via a slack hose.

This will sound ridiculous but I had the same problem when I ran PSI thru my DE.
I used the same DE airflow and also put in a HKS SSQV type blow off that vented into the atmosphere.
Any time I was coming to a stop, it rough idles and wants to cut off.

I ran the engine without an air filter for the first day, cuz the filter I had in the DE was too long and now with all the piping I was cramped for space.

I went by Sheriffs and bought a small filter, installed it and no more rough idle- wanting to cut off, etc.

Go figure. :?:

exactly what I was thinking/going to suggest, except I think you meant to say
change the mixture due to unmetered air

=due to metered air being removed.

Or he can also try relocating the MAF to after the BOV or have it tuned for Vent-to-atmosphere.

imperial, it's because you were getting too much air into the system and at throttle-body close, you were losing all the metered air and ending up having too rich a mixture.

my cuz car was gettin this same problem. we thought was the maf but strange enough it was dat one of the fuel lines had a hole an was suckin air... was a de.. but i wud check vaccum leak.

dis might work also
