Guys what gas mileage you getting, my 2003 xtrail gets close to 300kms per tank. Imo this is terrible, any suggestions?

Hey fellow tuners... I've done a conversion on my car using the sr20ve '20v' 6 speed from the p12 gt which is the NA version to the sr20VET that the x-trail gt comes with...i was wondering if any of you know if the manual shifter is the same as the p12 gt, reason being is that i did not get the correct shifter with the motor and the gear shift's are opposed, if you can confirm this it would be sincerely appreciated!!!...I will upload a picture of the p12 gt shifter so you can use as reference...thanks in advanced!..

That's not good...supposed to get close to 450-500km on a full tank

If your headgasket isn't blown yet, change the fuel filter in the tank under the left side back seat and have your injectors taken out serviced.

I think Ian from xrperformance has upgrade cradle arms for the xtrail. A friend of mine bought and he said they were real good wayyyyyy better than the OEM. 735 1086

Just got my eXy two months ago. It is a 2013 NT31 2.0
Did a little upgrade to it. Installed side steps, skid guards, chrome kit, HID kit, bug shield and upgraded my rims to stock 17's from a 2016 X-trail.

Hi IvanTerrors,
Got the Side steps, HID kit and Bug shield from LV Marketing on Cipero Street,
bought the skid guard and chrome kit on eBay and brought them in with WebSource.
This method was way cheaper had I purchased them from local sellers.

Hi Neals,
Was having a heavy fuel burn after my battery was disconnected for a short while.
Went by Ryan at Ryotech and had my systen re-calibrated and my gas burn is more efficient now.
I roughly get over 550 km from a full tank in my 2013 NT31.
Maybe your injectors and throttle body need servicing. Ryan did mine when I first got my vehicle from Japan.

Has anyone ever replaced their brake booster and master cylinder in a t30 xtrail before? My question is, how you getting the booster out from behind the intake manifold when its unbolted from the firewall? do i have to remove the intake or is there another way? the engine is the QR20. thanks

Have a 2k5, SR20VET Xtrail , safari lights, chipped ECU, s/s exhaust system, coil overs, 18" rims, new tyres, Bull bars, s/s tailgate bumper plate. Fogs, factory HID.
Only about 50K kms, clearly I don't get to drive it much with 3 other cars in the yard. Works fine.

Going to prep. her for sale and get a small electric hybrid now that it's 25% more tax for such vehicles. She's factory black as usual.
PCM 9936. She needs premium or super with octane boosters, I have a few bottles of octane boost on hand that works well.
Optional Full time 4WD and turbo will give u whiplash if you not careful, but then it's a factory SR20VET.

She has a built in WinXp3 Carputer with 7" touchscreen capable of displaying all engine performance particulars including a custom virtual gauge display. You can reset the ECU long term and short term trims as well as alter certain operational parameters. Also a secondary music system for those who prefer to tune a radio or play CDs rather than run mp3s or videos off the HDD or a flash.

Includes a custom built electronic antihijack system, but no 'alarm'.

So I'll be doing an underwash, shockoil, buff and shampoo and start giving her some exercise as the sales prep.

So reviving an old thread cause I need some assistance with a used Xtrail. Any help is appreciated.
Engine: QR20
Drivetrain: 4wd
Mileage: 140000kms

So far I have changed, the oil and oil filter, the power steering fluid, the rear diff and transfer case oil.

Any recommendations for wheel bearings (which I need to change)

What is the color of Nissan matic J when new. The current trans fluid looks like a translucent light pink (almost clear)

At what mileage should the thermostat, drive belt, and spark plugs be replaced.

For the record, the inner CV boot replacement was tough (especially getting the tripod bearings out of the "cup") I'm not sure if it needs changing now.

Anything I should be made aware of to look out for.

Thanks again too anyone taking the time to respond and add to this thread.

Got NSK wheel bearings... That seem to be working well for the time being. Changed some of the old power steering fluid from the reservoir (planning to keep doing this until I work through one liter of fluid and subsequently once at every oil change)

Realized the engine carries two thermostats... Considering replacing them every 5 years and or 100000kms. Why did nissan put an additional point of failure into the block.
