WTK: Mechanic adjust timing P11

Fellas anybody know of anyone with the machine to adjust ECU on P11 - Getting a pinging and want to adjust timing.

u can easily do this yourself
anticlockwise rotate distributor like 1mm and test

You don't need to do it from the ECU, you can do it from the Ditributor, adjusting the angle in degrees alters the firing.
Stock should be 11, I'm rnnning 14 right now safely on 89octane.
So there are two 12 bolts to slacken an move it forward to increase and backward to decrease. I'd suggest getting atiming light to accurately check which mark on the pulley you're on.
Hope that helps.
Oh and ensure you're running the right plugs and fuel pressure is good.

Fellas it is a QG18 engine and I ain't seeing noting to rotate.
