How can the speed cut be disabled on an sr20?

upgraded ECU with speed cut removed or HKS or Pivot both have inline units you can wire in.

also known as top speed limiter....

get a pliers and cut the signal wire.....OR upgrade the ECU with an aftermarket one....

Just doing some research and wanna re-open up this topic.

Alot of people are recommending cutting the speed signal wire to get rid of the speed cut, but in doing so problems arise.

1.Troubles with idle when coming to a stop.
2. Engine just stalls sometimes

Does or have anyone experience these problems ?

there is the hks scd and the greddy scd.

No but when i hit 180km it stalls for about 3sec an then it continues.I then hooked up a HKS speed cut defender an the problem was solved

Check prentice he has the greddy speed cut controller for $1000 installed...

Anybody hook up a greddy to a sr20vvl on a p11 yet?i followed the instructions and installed but speedo still limitin...computer hooked up says 232kmph but speedo lockin off at 200,,,,......
