HELP- GA15 locked up

Postby ashtech » August 5th, 2010, 1:32 am

Hey guys

I passed thru some flood the other day and my engine just stalled. it not starting at all, the engine not even turning maually. so i took out the plugs and i could see water down in the block. in pistons 1, 2 and 3. i tried to turn the engine then, but still nothin.
Is there anything else i can do or check before i think about a new head and block?

happen to me a while ago...
At first we thought the starter was the problem...we took it out and realized that it was working properly. We took a spanner and tried to turn the crank manually and it would not turn.

Most likely the problem is bent connecting rods.
I did not wait...bought a head and block one time.

a seized engine won't warrant much more than that.
Especially when the replacement costs so much less than the rebuild.
