Hose under fuel rail?(SR)

Postby Graphix1 » September 26th, 2010, 5:50 pm

Yesterday i overheated and i believe my thermostat stuck(top hose hot and bottom hose cool)so i removed it,i noticed water dripping from a hose under the fuel rail....coming from the water pump into the thermostat housing.....i believe it's supposed to heat up the air goin up to the throttle body...the hose is good but the metal pipe itself is rusted.

My question is can this be replaced and is that a high pressure pipe?

It has a hose clip on it right, then not it's not high pressure and you can replace it. Make sure the edge is reamed so the hose doesn't slip off.
