I use mine to slow down in addition to brakes, when im in somewhat stop and go traffic where i don't want to gear up, and when I want to overtake

Hellow Guys,
My Nissan Serena lost its display information.
When It came back, it started reading 6Km/l. while initially it was reading 10Km/l. I changes all the plugs but then it come into reading 5.9Km/l.
After reading using a diagnosis computer every aspect was okay.
What could be the problem?

Hi just thought i would ask here if anyone has come across this problem before .. C25 serena MR20 engine . has a hard start only when COLD . owner says sometimes 10 attempts to start in the morning . full service done recently ..Plugs filters trans oil , clean throttle etc.. all original stuff, made no difference . only issue is the timing chain rattles on startup (not sure if this has any link to hard start or not)

The cold start solenoid is the issue. Timing chain rattle is tensioner is failing or incorrect oil and filter being used. Of course the in absence if knowing the duration may not necessarily be an issue.

if the "cold start solenoid " is the small one on the intake manifold near the throttle then i have already replaced it . last person broke it and stuck it on with silicone .. rattle is not that bad and stops very quickly after startup

didnt check it .. I need to know exactly what the cold start solenoid is? i honestly think this vehicle is a high mileage vehicle that was backed then sold locally . they said they bought it with 30,000 km (now at 106,000km) . and had to carry it back to the people who brought it in to change the transmission as soon as they bought it.
