Navara d40 crack in fire wall

Postby vidish » January 23rd, 2020, 6:22 pm

Recently realized the gears was going in little hard
So I thought it was the clutch. Know some one who works in Massy as a technician called him to tell explain the problem. He told me to check to see if the firewall moving when I mash the clutch. When I mashed the clutch the the entire the firewall had a huge crack. Can anyone relate? Was told a few of these vehicles are having this problem.

my 2014 d40 had this problem i fixed it buy getting the crack welded and then fabricating a reinforcement plate also the clutch pedal box itself was also cracked. eventually you won't be able to change gear if you leave it to get worse.
