T32 xtrail AC not cycling

Recently changed the evaporator, which was leaking.
AC is blowing cold but the compressor and fan are not cycling off and on.
Also, the AC line is icing up.
Changed the intake temperature sensor but same issue.
System was vacuumed and regassed.
A scan indicated code B24 a4 circuit short to ground.
Tried a universal sensor and it did cycle but the recycle button kept tripping.
Anyone experienced this problem, plse advise.
