Congrats to the entire team!!

For a country with no track, government support or real corporate sponsorship (some but not enough) its good to see that we could still kick arse on a global level.

Thats the second world record we now hold !!

Now if only the powers that be would sit up and take notice we might get somewhere. 1/10 of what Patrick is spending on his Hotel/ house would give us an international grade facility.

Does anyone have contacts with the press to do an exclusive report on this event?

This will help promote the sports to the general public and politricans and

hopefully bring a good name to the sport of drag racing in this country. :idea:

Congrats to Sheldon and his team. Their persistence and having to race overseas is going to gradually pay off. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise.

And now the politicsâ€¦
When Ryan Garcia achieved his outstanding performance a few years ago, attempts were made to have this recognized locally and recommendations were made for a special award to be granted. Even getting the Ministry of Sport involved.

But he was deemed to have participated in Outlaw Drags in the US. So you know who did not support the idea, because then he was not a member of you know what.

So now, can we see an early attempt being made to highlight this achievement with appropriate recognition granted???
