you can get it at Peak's Yacht services in Chaguaramas. Depending on how many cars you take care of you can buy the gallon and save a few pennies.

Guys, Karim did another of my dad's vehicles on last Saturday and the results were amazing. Even my mom who never notices any difference with the cars commented on the shine of the van. It was getting dark when we took the pics, sorry about the quality.

Was probably around 300 when I bought it, lasted such a long time that I'm not sure what the new price may be.

It's the boatyard/marina... same way you got Crews Inn, Power Boats, Budget, Coral Cove, Tardieu etc.

I stood on the porch with my PC7424XP, looked at the dark clouds and said "you won today mr rain, but tomorrow i shall be victorious"

My car is starting to look like it's "ownerless" because of the rain. I will try to take some pics tomorrow if i get around to beating the rain. Tomorrow is clay, polish, seal for me

@Stephon that's a Porter-Cable 7424XP 6-Inch Variable-Speed Polisher.

Meguiar's Professional Dual Action Polisher looks like this

@Allergic2BunnyEars, I think I will order a Porter-Cable soon! Tell me how much it costs to clear when you get it in your hands. 8-)

What model Karcher power washers do you guys recommend for the sole purpose of washing your vehicle?

^^I started off smiling when I saw the Griots Car Wash, then realised the rest of products weren't griots <sigh>.

Ah well - decent collection there bub. Consider using some of the Klasse AIO that rainman recommended above. That's the real deal :shock: BTW, are those sheepskin wash pads? If so....much props. Sheepskin = teh winz. BUt make sure and use a two bucket wash.

How are you liking that 7424XP? I'm thinking of getting the Griots orbital just for laughs and giggles.

My wallet hasn't been "laughing" (read: not much $$$) as of late though, so that may be a problem :lol:

Karim Khan wrote:So did anyone do any detailing today ?

No, but I did use some of my Griots Spray on Car Wash. I've been experimenting with it over the past month. Truly excellent product, very high lubricity. Leaves amazing beading, and it works flawlessly (when used correctly) on a light/medium-ish dirty car. The trick is to use lots of MF towels!

Offers more value for money for me vs the Megs Ultimate Wash and Wax anywhere since, I'm getting the Megs UWaWA for about 15 USD for 16 OZ, whereas I'm getting the Griots for 16 USD, for 32 OZ.

Jus' saying.

My thoughts exactly, i have nothing against Meguiars products but when you see griots you're expecting some pinnacle and wolfgang behind it lol.

Last sunday i clayed, polished and sealed with Klasse AIO, started at 5am and finished at 7am sun was coming out and my garage gets pretty hot so i deferred the Klasse HGSG until this saturday. Anyone who has used it before knows that HGSG is a major pain in the ass to work with when the place is hot. I will post pics after i apply it. Klasse is old stuff, but why change what works?
