can't they put in a smaller size engine and get it registered?

then put back the 5.4?

Yes and no.
If the vehicle was shipped from wherever with certain documents, they'll have to explain why the engine doesn't match the chassis, and if they get past that, they'll still have to go to licensing to report the engine change when it goes back to 5.4

Also, to get another engine in there will probably cause some issues due to need for fabrication etc. and that alone may not pass inspection.

Then again, money talks.
But even then, if the person who brought in this car can't afford to register it, it was stupid to bring it here in the first place.

Hate to be that direct, but I'd expect someone to do their research.

what would be so hard to explain though?

on arrival, they discovered the engine was dead/useless so they just put another one.

the 3rd point , do people even go to licensing to report engine change?

I'm giving you all the legal requirements.
They can easily pass money to someone to have it registered with a 1.5 engine.

Isn't it a 5.4 Supercharged V8?
I think its LHD so that is the prob. Just my speculation.

5400CC will cost $310,500 to register:

5400 x $50 per cc = $270,000
VAT = $40,500

Well it's a good thing ford has that little 1000cc racer that they hopefully put into production. Would be nice to see a few of those in the country.

I'm not sure it's a real rs4,Took a good look at it at coral cove marina, and the flare kit was not attached neatly looks like it was installed after with sealer. Also the color does not match.A brand new car would look different, like a lot neater.

The B8 RS4 only comes as an Avant, i.e. a wagon.

They would get a certain percentage relief of taxes.
Not tax free.

Thats the same Audi that I posted earlier in this thread last week, it's not an RS4 man someone already clarified that for me. but it is a pretty sweet looking Audi.
