I would not recommended you use EGP with Ultra Deep Shine . They were not designed to be used together . You can use HD wax on top of the EGP only after the EGP has cured for at least 24-48 hours in our climate.

My Evo is now 10 years old and the A/C was starting to smell moldy when i turned it on in the morning.
I don't like using strong air fresheners in the car as I typically like lighter scents like fresh linen and crisp breeze etc even around the house.

I also have allergies and take antihistamines from time to time so this moldy smell was making me sneeze and feel congested in the car.

I used this Liqui Moly Klima Fresh and it was pretty amazing how well it worked! No more moldy smell and no strong over powering scent either.

It's anti-bacterial and sanitizes your a/c system evaporator and vent ducts

How long ago did you use it? The reason i am asking is because these products usually work for some time and then the smell returns. The best of them that I've personally used is the autoglym air con sanitizer but sadly the smell came back.

Q. Can Autoglyms HD Wax applied after using Ultra Deep Shine on a dark coloured finish? I imagine that HD Wax would offer more longevity and durability to the Ultra Deep Shines finish?

A. It is true that an application of HD Wax would improve the durability of the polish underneath it, the issue with Ultra Deep Shine is that it contains ingredients to combat swirls these can interfere with the way that the wax sits on the polish. For that reason we recommend the use of Super Resin Polish and HD Wax only.

Well this sux...should I scrap UDS all together and SRP & EGP combo?

Q. after applying ultra deep shine is it ok to use high definition wax as well.

A. Ultra Deep Shine is a one step product that should not be followed up with High Definition Wax or Extra Gloss Protection. If you polish with Super Resin Polish then applying High Definition Wax or Extra Gloss Protection after is recommended.

Karim so i'm assuming there's no "wax" per se to use on UDS?

Duane&Rainman : The AG product works great actually. Did not have any scent return to the cars I've used it in. Perhaps you have a lot of moisture in your system Rainman? Causing mold to build up quickly? Maybe in the carpets also?

Pioneer: UDS as you researched is not recommended as a base product for EGP or HDWax. However, if you try it you would notice that the HDWax CAN be put on top of the UDS, but simply will not last long as bonding will be poor. I've tried it on the same vehicle with UDS And SRP and the SRP base lasted about 3mths, and the UDS did not even make 1mth. EGP is so high in solvents apparantly that it removes some components of UDS when you're applying making the finish of the UDS spotty. I've never tried to confirm that though.
Honestly, I'd say use the UDS if you want a quick pass without correction, but with the new SRP around I see absolutely no need for UDS anymore. The new SRP is easier to use, shines better, lasts longer and provides a better base for topping with other AG products.

For optimum results when using the Liqui Moly Klima Fresh, run the AC system on Hot during 10 minutes before using Klima Fresh, to ensure system is completely dry.
Also, AC system is to be turned off and only use FAN, and make sure to run fan on CIRCULATION while applying Klima Fresh.
See video for KLIMA FRESH

I've used the autoglym but the smell came back after a month or so. Wanted to try this version.

Ok i am still in shock but Pioneer here is my Professional suggestion

pioneer wrote:Guess my work is cutout for this weekend

Yes you have plenty work this weekend. Fixing someone else mess if much more time consuming and costly.

pioneer wrote:Which one(s) should I use?

For the best results use this
1. Image

2. Only use the meguiars POLISHING pad with your PC 7336. DO not and i say Do not use the cutting pad it will just make your job worst especially when you use it with the PC.

Notes.

1. Use plenty down force on the head of the machine but not too much so that the pad stops osolating.

2. Break up the panel in small pieces

3. Use very little product and clean your pad very often to avoid a build up of the product onto the pad.

4. Before moving on to the next section recheck your work to see if you are satisfied. If you are not satisfied do the panel over untill your are full satisfied.

Good luck and happy detailing !!! I can see you will need it....lol
