Just for a little update, I didn't get the Mothers Clay Bar (still didn't find any) but I got the Meguiars Clay Kit, which I think should be the better buy.. Can't wait to use it this weekend.

Bess. I will try that when I get one. I have quite a few tiny chips also. Thanks.

On a side note I got plastx and I'm gonna try to remove some yellowing on the lights and apply a vinyl as in the pic. Since that part seems most vulnerable to discoloring

Just an update. I got the meguiars clay bar kit at W.H. Scott Movietowne. For $189. 20% off sale right now. Original price: 235$ & there is one more kit again. Sale ends Wednesday.

They have some other megs stuff like quik detailer and some of the NXT line as well as tire/trim shine stuff.

Guys, looking for a good polisher, anyone know where sells them.
Streetwise in gasparillo has a Vapor brand anyone has any experience with this unit?
What polishers do you use?

If you're just starting out get a DA polisher.

Yeah im more interested in a DA, thanks for the information guys.
CarPlus has a orbital and laughlin has a Milwaukee but thats a little to big for my use.
A 6" DA is ideal for me.

Anyone ever used the da kit for drills? Or just invest in the actual polisher and done?

Also... Witch hunt start again, I looking to get some meguiars ultimate compound. Carplus eh have and I am unsure about William H Scott... Price Club might have?

Also after using PlastX on the lights, do you all follow up with anything to protect it from yellowing again?

Drill kits are crap.

Yehhhh lubetech! Lol
The angle and pressure u need for a proper polish a drill kit will never give that especially on a roof or bonnet.
Oh and my bad i also use a sealer wax over my headlights after i plastx.

You can jet a karcher k series for about a grand (smallest model). Thinking about investing in one along with a foam lance.

Lol scene. I have to check there and price club.

Ahh will save for the DA then.

Which sealer wax is that? I have white wax and quik wax from megs. The quik wax should work I assume?

Was looking at a 1500psi karcher eh. From pro tools. but I was thinking to invest in one to do yard work also. Those 1500psi ones any good for removing moss etc from concrete/walls?
Wrt foam guns I bought one of those gilmour ones from Amazon to hold on for the time being. If any of you all thinking of those guns (attaches to the hose directly) make sure you get the adjustable ones.

tried out megs black wax. Worked great, nice deep shine, and water beading nicely. applied by hand, was easy to go on and come off.
