The texture of the weave will show through the paint anyways.

All you photochoppists out there, anyone want to take a stab at overlaying a black roof on this to see how it looks?

well that's not very good is it? :|

given the pic you posted, i say paint it yes. very jet fighter-esque/space-fighter cockpit look with the contrast of the white roof, imo that may be lost with the unpainted carbon on top.

I would say paint it or wrap it white if possible.

The carbon in the preview does not look too bad though.

I like the contrast Shiv.... breaks up the white nicely with the Wheels.

it gently takes it away from an OEM look, and adds a bit more aggression...

and matches nicely with all the fine black accents around the car.

the car itself already presents the lines around the hood for it anyway....

So give it a shot, if ure not pleased... u still have the option to paint it.

Thanks for the photoshops guys. It's helped alot.

I'll leave it black and see how I feel about it.

Why not use white carbon on it?

i say leave it. i said that because of 3 reasons 1) i just like the way CF looks, 2) when you leave it CF, you always have the option to paint it later if you so desire and 3) if you leave it CF ppl will know that its CF and not iron.
