Was hoping Danica maintain the 3rd spot to the finish but I think she choose the wrong line as her Crew Chief instructed her and he confirmed that ... however, she still managed to finish in the 8th position ....

What the hell was I seeing when I watched the races at Watkins Glen and Sonoma and saw a number of times the rednecks beat established road racers at their own game.

No other automobile racing series can match the business model of NASCAR.

And to those who think it is a shade tree mechanic sport, those teams use seven post chassis rigs to set up their cars.

The rules are so tightly written, I think the mechanics and crew chiefs are even smarter than Adrian Newey to get around the rule book.

I don't know. Jimmie Johnson shows a level of consistency that is unbelievable. Sucks to be Jeff Gordon. A car that you are a co-owner of, and which is theoretically similar to yours, is beating you consistently day in and day out.
