sr20 in a bug? smh..get a blasted ej20turbo.Anything other than a boxer engine(vw or subaru) in a vw is jus wrong!!!

also i prefer engine work first cus if i do a body job on it an then damage d paint i go cuss.

I think what cinco means is u should at least rub down the car and prim it to halt any existing corrosion

^^^ yup
and if you remove the engine and do a proper de rust in the engine bay also you can work on rewiring and the engine on the bench if you stay stock then the chances of damaging the paint work is much less since you dont have to cut/squeeze in another engine.
also when you start to remove paint you will see where there is any bondo or severe rust

peeps, i jus come inside frm trying to start d car, and it's been heaps of frustration, cus it won't start for anything. i previously lost the engine timing bt i got it back then d carburetor start coughing black smoke.
any advice??

NICE!! Only Asian market b310s came with A14 and A15 EFI engines. They are very very rare. I assume this one is a foreign used car.

Yep, bought it to put a SR, but change my mind, car too nice eff it up like that. Jus lookin to do a restore put in sum flat-top pistons and go for a nice oldskool JDM custom look.

from the condition of the pics you posted
when last did the car run?
did you flush the gas tank/change gas filter and plugs?
service/clean the carb?

d car was runnin up untill i fixed d distrubutor, it have a clean gas tank and new plugs.
bt i say screw it i goin an buy a lancer engine an put in it, bt d only ting givin me trouble nw is insurance

4 doors front and rear bumper and a bonnet that would b nice

hey guys i have a hunter gls 1725 and i want to do some work on it..do u all have any ideas on a v6 engine i can use in it? preferably a us v6

has a ca18 in it atm but the fuel tank has degraded also the original lines do u all think a fuel cell is a good way to go and where can i get a 10 gallon?

also im looking for a mechanic who would be willing to do the work?fabrication and install...should also be in the south area anywhere marabella to penal

also anyone knows where i can get front n rear windscreen rubber.. they have been a pita to find
