The shining monkey one works well but I prefer the meguiars hot shine. Not the aerosol version.

Good job there. Reflections like dat. What products were used?

I hate that tire shine. It doesn't last, slings like crazy if you drive through water, and looks extremely fake unless you wipe it off after it dries..which is more work than a normal good tire shine.

It really is a pity we can't bring aerosols though. Very interested in seeing how the new Blackfire aerosol midnight sun works.

Copper : Swissvax products are quite good. Contact Swissvax US. They do accept trini CC's and will ship here. You can buy a few things on some other sites but if you want the kits modified in any way or only a sample size sent you'll have to contact them directly.

There's also DrBeasleys which is cheaper, but you probably wouldn't find anyone that has tried it before you in trini so read on the net and hope for the best if you go this way.

http://www.drbeasleys.com/matte-paint-prescription.html

BMW also has their own line that they sell for the stock matte paint vehicles. Not sure who makes it for them.

Before you get any stuff e-mail the company and ask them the product restrictions. You might find that some of these things only work on certain factory matte finishes or some weirdness like that.

2. Black fire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection applied with Meguiar's dual action polisher with black meguiars finishing pad.
3. Black fire Midnight Sun Ivory Carnauba Paste Wax applied by hand.

Number of hours to complete the job- 8 1/2 hours

Nice finish by blackfire there. Would like to see it irl.
Did the wax have any darkening effect after the sealant? Or does it just have very good reflections but less depth than other waxes?
From the picture it looks really great though.

When my griot's polishes are finished I'll probably go with Menzerna.. but that depends also on how that blackfire SRC finishing polish and gloss enhancer I just got works out.
The griots polishes just take too long to produce ANY cut on euro finishes. Hoping the SRC is stronger, but still easy to control.

Below is a pic of the Benz . To the centre is what the paint looked like before the paint correction. You can see the swirls . No good . To the left and right is what the paint look like after the paint correction. No swirls and in perfect condition.

Cool. One of my friends has one with the darkish red interior. Very good looking cars. Quiet and good ride quality too.

dad went WHS today and I told him to see if they had NXT, which I didn't expect them to have because everywhere else I've checked looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for it.

Anyways, hi.

Hmm, was the foaming really necessary in a case like this?

Aaron lewwe know how that brake dust barrier works please. I've tried way too many things on wheels to just go experimenting again.

ive washed the car twice since and the rims weren't that tough to clean but the brakes do give off a lot of dust...think this is the first vehicle ive owned that give off so much lol.....

car is still on the factory 18" wheels and with the brake upgrade there isn't much clearance to clean in inside area of the rim... *tote*

Foam
Hey Nemesis, the foaming solution i used , was to gently "loosen" the existing wax and bonded contaminants. So in this case yes.

Brake Dust Barrier-
Euro cars = plenty brake dust. lol
The brake dust barrier is a rim sealant, it will not fully prevent the accumulation of brake dust on the rim, but it makes cleaning them much easier. You really have to try it to see the results.
