If you want low down torque and quick spool without having a fancy ECU or nitrous then the 2.0 VE cams are the better set. Becasue the low lobes are quite low duration.
However, with the 2.0 VE cam you will be giving up some top end toruqe/power.

With the 1.6 VE cams the bottom end will drop off a very little but the top will pick up slightly. There is very little increase in the duration, but the center line changes on the 1.6 relative to the 2.0.

If you go N1 1.6 VE, you will loose bottom end toruqe, you will gain huge mid range torque and you will have cam capability to go all the way past 9000rpm with good power.
If you have adjustable cam gears then a small advance of the inlet and retard of the exhaust cams will dial out the low speed overlap and make them behave like the 2.0 VE, but still have the duration on the top end.
I have found that there is very little to be gained switching over the VVL below 5750rpm.

That is a turbocharged 4WD with juice................look at how the March with a 1.6 and the N1s leaves the line...........you have nothing to worry about with N1 cams.

When we claim a new record , can we say what is that record . I can guess that it maybe the fastest pulsar , 4wd drive Nissan , etc .

This differs from a best time for the car

What is the record ?

The record is the Fastest Full Street Pulsar running on 93 octane PUMP FUEL an it is also using an upgraded jwt ecu . Soon were are hoping to do a high 10sec which should make it the First Street PULSAR to to a 10sec pass in TRINIDAD. Jus remember this car was built by ourselves an this car has never been tuned on a dyno. hope this answers ur question. BTW goodluck next time with ur car on the next Race meet.

So the car did a high 10sec pass as we was hoping to do a 10.84 sec at 111mph the mph is low because the car broke down before the 1/4 mile this makes it the FIRST AND FASTEST FULL STREET PULSAR TO RUN IN TRINIDAD.We also did that time on the RIGHT lane which was a bit slippery.JUST remember the car is still running on pump gas an a JWT ECU.This is also the FIRST 4WD 2.0L car to do a 10sec pass in TRINIDAD NO EVO OR SUBARU ever did 10sec in TRINIDAD.This is also one of the 3 FASTEST SR20'S CURRENTLY running in TRINIDAD. MILKBOYS PULSAR 10.84SEC,YELLOW FISHVAN 10.86 SEC,BLUE S13 SILVIA 10.88SEC.
