Have question on this bug. The gas filler flap on the right came on the models where the bumper was also the "one piece solid style". Was that bumper retrofitted?

those cars are insanely fun...even with humble Morris Minor underpinnings, it's steering feel and response are legendary...even Sir Stirling Moss campaigned one.....I truly envy the owner of this car

Car is small, that's what got me. I fitting in there comfortable.
I can crawl under most cars without jacking them up and have space to move around.

I saw they had a frogeye on Wheeler Dealers...that one had a 1275cc in it...they said that made it peppy and i think they had to upgrade the front brakes to disc from an mg or austin healey

1275 would have likely come from a later model midget, which is a popular upgrade....almost doubles the power! Front discs would be a good upgrade, to compliment the extra power
