its not like the 2-3lbs weight loss is gonna help you tremendously on the track when you race.

Cuz the way I see it, this would be done more for "cool points" and appearance, than anything else

i have a dumb question............. how do you go about changing the roof to cf.

even with clearcoat on it?
If you want to keeping it Carbon fibre look I would recommend you clear coat it, then we can apply the nano coating. This Ceramic nano coating that i applied to the vehicle is semi permanent and the manufacturer of the coating boast of a two year life expectancy. You can paint the roof after you apply the nano , but you would have to remove the coating by either using a very aggressive compound or sanding off the coating.
Agree with this completely - my vote would be to paint it..ROZAC:.. wrote:^ lol.
Paint it mate. While the black white (panda) theme is nice, on the GTR CF accents on just trims and add-ons are better.
I'm cringing at just the thought of "peeling" back the OEM roof skin thoughpaparazzi wrote:My honest view is that the carbon contrast on the roof on a white GTR spoils the lines of the car. I would like to paint it (leaving a little edge in carbon or something) because just like when I painted the bonnet I don't want the car to look like an all out race car. Just tasteful carbon mods. Me knowing that the roof is carbon is enough, I don't have to display it to the whole world
You painted the very limited edition High Metal Bronze G2s matte black??paparazzi wrote:PS. I'm now sporting G2s in matte black.
