HELP PLZ; NZE optimal aftermarket rim size

I am thinking about replacing my tired old rims on my corolla and was wondering whether to go 16s or 17s. it is either of the two, no smaller, no bigger. I obviously would like as close to stock ride comfort as possible. upon consultation with rim specialists, 205/45/17 is the biggest tyres (for 17) and 205/50/16 for 16s. seeing that the prices of 16 and 17 tyres are almost the same, would 16s really make that much of a difference in ride comfort?

On another note, where are some good places to buy good, sporty rims, not at all a fan of crims or flashy rims, i much prefer lightweight racing rims.

the 205/50/16 would give u a better ride...you can also go 205/55/16 but u have to lower the car to make it look good...205/45/17 would look the best but u would sacrifice the ride quality a bit
