WTK: How to stop fender howling noise when driving

I have a Hilux van, and I find that when I go upwards of 100 km/hr, I get a howling noise coming somewhere from the left side fender I presume. I know this is air getting in somewhere, and that other van users have the same problem, but was hoping someone here could share their knowledge as to how to stop it....

Notice a loud howling noise in the hilux whenever there is strong wind on the highway. Always thought it was from somewhere behind like around the back edge of the cab. Mabe trying placing something in the space between the tray and the cab might be worth a try. Or maybe a sports bar on the tray. Or maybe i just deaf and it really from the fender. Dunno. Never bothered me

why would you want to drive a pick up so fast?
drive slower you wont hear it.

100 km/hr is fast on the roads with a Hilux??!?! Those of you who talking about slowing down and that's too fast with a pickup, I doh see you on the slow lane when I driving my 100 km/hr....

haha the helpful responses here. Are you getting a wind noise coming through the fender?

The fender can't make noise by itself, unless it's like a Fender Guitar or something. so it's something coming into contact with it, or coming from that area ....like tyre+road noise?
