Plan for this is, strip back to nothing, patch bad areas, new oem everything, power flex everything underneath, GTiR gearbox with brace and hope it can hold out and a hydraulic e-brake setup. The look I am after is some thing wild like this,

Turbo setup should be in this week,
Image
GTX3071R with sidewinder manifold and custom downpipe, braided lines, external wastegate, full custom intercooler piping, FMIC etc. Will get on with it at some point, plan is ID 1000cc injectors and an AEM EMS4 with a proper tune from Dry. We'll see what a stock VET can take, car will be outfitted with full Defi range, custom Defi intrument panel, more than likely roll cage, seats, and full 3" exhaust. Just need someone with a good replacement dashboard for starters.

Turbo and manifold set up seem more drags oriented .think suspension and brake upgrades would have been better for a drag and wind project. Learn the course and car capabilities on the course before going the power route .nice car and project though

As said above entire suspension is being overhauled, powerflex black bushings for underneath, either lowering shock and springs or coilovers, and a definite brake upgrade, looking at 4 piston front and maybe a twin piston rear if I can adapt skyline brakes and a five lug setup

Got my turbo setup a week or two ago, will start work on it once I drop the engine in the R32. Waiting on a couple fittings to get the show on the road.

Collected my Gearbox brace today. I wanna tackle removing the engine this weekend but I need to make some good progress first on the R32. Hoping for some big updates this weekend.

Made an impulse buy today, bought a set of Buddy Club P1's, get this, 17X9 +17mm 5X114.

Yes 5X114, so now I have to do a 5 hole conversion somehow. Checking to see if maybe either an avenir W11 GT4 setup or maybe an Xtrail GT setup. Pics to follow.

If I can get someone to stitch the dash that will be a kice touch and his interior is exactly what I want with cage and also the pal sport 260km instrument cluster, I lost my bid on one in auction so may just go for a defi custom carbon instrument cluster setup and keep the dashboard clean.

May put the balance of management and defis in the glove box with a carbon trim facing. My brake setup will be either skyline four piston or brembo once it does not affect the brake bias. Next week the surgery is starting. Pics will follow.

Updates finally, we pulled the car from a friend's place only to realize after paying the wrecker ah $40 to pull it from one road to the next road that we could have put the positive lead on and drive it over as it started after a couple tumbles. We got the car in and I started stripping the interior, was a bit of work but got it mostly done. Reason for stripping is to see what rust I had to deal with, some minor concerns but they will all be addressed. A couple pictures of the progress thus far.

Finally in the cave,
Image

Stripping interior,
Image

Dashboard as well, wiring wasn't too bad, just some gauges that were removed, defis will follow.
Image
Areas of concern that need immediate attention,
Image
Image
Image
Image
Driverside door pillar and there is one or two other areas like where the intercooler piping was run and around the fenders arches but all that will be addressed when the fender flares go on.

Yeah St. Augustine area, thinking to get some dry ice and remove the tar/sound deadening from the car and really see what rust there is. Engine came out today and we stripped most of the engine bay. Pics will follow tomorrow. Plan is to drop the sump and see what the damage is and if only crank and bearings then I will fix it and sell it off. Already have the gearbox brace and looking at the collar for the two shafts in the gearbox to make it a bit better, not exactly bulletproof but will last longer. Not looking for high HP just reliable and fun to drive, will be careful what clutch setup to use to not shockload the gearbox and no heavy launching either.

Now I am on the lookout for a front wiring harness from the cabin to the two fuseboxes in the engine bay and harnesses for the headlights and a decent dashboard without any holes. I will have some stuff for sale, R32 GTR intercooler, possibly BOV and piping, eventually four throttle repaired engine and harness with ECU and MAF, a bunch of gauges, not sure what is working but they will all be up for sale, wheels (15" 4X100 with tyres), front seats and maybe some small stuff.

Yeah well shooting for around 400HP, will be adding some cams to make it a little more responsive if possible.
