I wanna know about the safety too. The overall idea is awesome if they can pull it off. It basically makes it possible for a lot more people to build a car, and for much cheaper.
If someone could pull something like this off, it could change the game big time. I imagine buying a body like buying a PC case, from a local shop. Then just going to Nissan / chevy, whoever for power plant, drive train, etc, like intel or amd for cpu. one can dream..
