I'm glad I could do everything on a car for myself although I have men working full-time on it. I don't want to stick and it end up taking years. I watching them like a hawk , no room for mistakes. Doors arrived today , so when the welding is finished, on to the next step ( filler work) without delay. What you have park up though?

At the back of SWS Marabella. Romeo .342 6649. PPG Epoxy primer. I cleaned it properly and used Magic Rust Seal ,let it dry, sanded it and then primed.

The floor itself was under $1000 USD. But shipping California to Miami and then to Trinidad (,because of it's size ) was a lot . The cost with duty and vat came up to around $14000. The trunk floor was just under $7000. The nice thing about these American cars , is that you can get every screw, rubber, moulding ,body part ,etc brand new. They even sell the complete interior upholstery kit, in all the original colours.

questions thou -

1 .are you going for a full era restoration or are you adding in more modern conveniences
like ac, disc brakes, coil overs rear defroster - power brakes & steering

2. paint scheme
OEM paint colors or u going with something newer??

3. any thing being done under the hood??
rebuilding engine and transmission to spec or you going aftermarket parts for the engine to make power and super charging or turbo'ing??

Its going to be a restomod. Every thing new, and all the comforts. I now organising a powerplant for it, but I not letting the cat out of the bag . All I could say is that it going to be a monster. Have wilwood brakes, booster, power steering organised already. Colour as in the pic above. Planning to move the doorposts and change it into a two door, bought the longer doors day before yesterday, so when I return , I have some work cut out.

Is switching from 4 door to 2 door legal?

No issues from license office down the line?
