What is this thing ..... Solodex?

Postby Mr. Fixables » May 17th, 2007, 7:17 pm

Hi,

I have been hearing about this caribbean thing called Solodex.

I don't know much about this concept as I am from Georgia. Is this something "We Rednecks" can participate in?

We up here only know of short tracks and turning "left". Please enlighten me!!!

Boy, allyuh Trini something else.

All I did was attend an event to see how it is set-up and all of a sudden I ripping things up here already?

My Summary:

The lot size is similar to ARC, but a bit wider. It is not a level lot, so you can have some off camber corners but the surface is VERY smooth. Also, they build "pro styled" courses, very fast with some technical stuff thrown in here and there, more like a course you would build Barry.

I have been quite busy with everything up here, and haven't gotten the chance to do much of anything as of yet. hoping to get into it by June.

Anybody interested in what car I bought? :)

It should bring a few laughs!!

The car is a 2.0L with full Magnaflow exhaust, Steeda intake, Steeda suspension, plus all of the ricey parts added on.

No Nitrous .... really.

Guess how much I paid for this thing, it's a 2000 model.

2000 model would be 7 years old. I'd say 4k-6k max.

Good call Pete.

I got the car for USD $3900.00

Runs like a champ for a Slowcus (this is, after I did a Fixables tune on it)
