Tonight on IE TV channel 1 the TTRC Media Launch was featured. I was slightly misquoted however and would like to clarify.
Myself nor the TTRC is against drag racing - however when asked about street racing and 'drag racing' on the streets i said that we were against it and advised that all racing should be done on the tracks where it is controlled and safe. Also where there are emergency services available.
I along with the TTRC regret any mis-understanding as a result.
For the record we are in support of all forms of motor racing once it is done safely and in the proper controlled manner.
