In the first instance I again repeat, this is a team effort, and we support our other MATT affiliates fully. When the idea first came up, I said we can have 10 of our competitors participate, but the concern was the crossover and the gravel, and not sure how our guys would approach this part of the course, and look at what you writing here…”The Gravel to Tarmac transition was crazy, love this part of the event..”

As a matter of fact it seems to me that all of our competitors were trying to out-jump the Rally Cars at this point!

With total collaboration, we can all grow Motor-Sport in T&T.

Must congratulate the TTRC on another great Event, and thank the many who work behind the scenes to make it all happen.

And which highway was that?

Another area of preparation that many are not aware of - the T&T Gravel Stages have been noted as among the best-prepared worldwide!

Totally agree with southside there.
Gravel mixed with unusually slippery Tarmac, and a flying finish which also happened to be a gravel jump as well was awesome fun indeed.

So now that the TTRC has wet our appetite, I hope they invite a few of us to next years Rally Trinidad 2014 Tarmac stages, even if its exhibition runs only. This last event was a great driver's experience and we are all looking forward to some more in the future. Thank you TTRC and AutoSport.

A sincere thanks to everyone who came out yesterday, sponsors, competitors, spectators, photo and video peeps, volunteers, all MATT affiliates, and of course our marshals. As you know the main reason for putting this event on was to give back to spectators after the unfortunate end to Rally Trinidad. But as they say you must always look for the silver lining and sometimes great things happen out of mistakes. In this case i think we proved just that.

We had a tough day with the weather, but nonetheless we were given an opportunity to put on a wider display of motorsport, including other groups and not just rally cars. Our strength is always in numbers and we love nothing better than to move forward as a team. ASA, D&W, TTKA, DWO and so we go. This forum always argues about motorsport acting as one, well days like yesterday are the result of that effort, and for that we are grateful.

So to Drifters, we say welcome again to organized motorsport and we will continue to work with you guys as you develop your sport. I think Trinidad is blessed with a lot of drifting talent and it is great to be able to compare the similarities of drifting between the Rally cars and the drift cars.

Drag and Wine boys - All i can say is welcome to pacenotes haha. The course was a little different but we hoped it was an opportunity for you all to try something new and we certainly hope it will quote 'wet your appetite' for becoming further involved with motorsport (i.e. rallying). It was great seeing the head to head competition and i think this was personified with the Craig vs Kristian battle at the end. If these guys are our young talent then the future is bright. Autosport has a great thing going and maybe we can return the favour of the 'Rally Car vs Drag and Wine' Battle in an event later down the road.

Karting you know that we cannot do this event without the use of your equipment and we hope your event this weekend is a go.

The TTRC is working hard to develop the REFORM stage to become the most spectator friendly stage in Trinidad and we will keep you all informed of our progress. The various jumps and sweeping corners provide some of the best spectator vantage points and this stage has the potential of Preysal when it comes to enjoyment and ease of access. We will see you at the next event, stay tuned to our facebook updates for all the info.

Thanks again.

I know of the hard work TTRC and other clubs put in to pull of these events. Hardly missed a rally since I was introduced to it in RT08. Each year just keep getting better and better. That picture reminded me of the jump in Preysal. The stadium was great but I wish made it to Reform stage in the morning :( . I must say good job to all those who made it possible, can't wait for the next one!!!

Can you post up the times for both rally and drag and wind competitors for the tarouba stage please.
So we can see where we can improve as drivers, especially as this mixed course proved quite challenging to us.
