Boring part of the install continues.. Remember this is for our daily ride and the cosmetics is really not high on my priority here.. You could see how I cut the ply so that it fits smug in the space under the seat, it will not slide around and is kept in place via gravity.. (yeah, real lazy man install, I know..

)

With the seat in place and slid all the way forward, you get easy access to the amp controls and rear foot room is quite adequate.

That's a lot of space between the amp and the seat! Convection cooling ftw!

The fun part.. A 10" 250W (low end model) Audiopipe sub!

I had purchased a 12" factory built Digital Designs enclosure that I had found in the classifieds. I measured the internal volume to be around 1.65cu.ft, which is really small for a 12", so I placed a 10" baffle inside the box and converted it for use with a 10" sub instead.
That Audiopipe sub was bought years ago for SPL use but I never got a chance to debut it. So now it holding out for until I can get a proper 10"..
Oh, the ply was treated with Thompsons Wood sealer, so it will not swell if it gets wet. Also with the seat in place, it is impossible to remove the amps..
