help with ipod connector for Pioneer head unit

Postby dipsomaniac » October 23rd, 2009, 12:50 am

I have a deh-p780mp.

In order to connect my iPod to the unit can a
CD-I200 iPod direct control cable work?

or do i have to use the
CD-IB100II interface adapter.

suggestions or advice?

yea well i know the CD-IB100II interface adapter works because that is what's in the booklet.

but i saw on their website this CD-I200 iPod direct control cable, but they don't give much info about it.

the CD-IB100II is like a small box/device whereas the CD-I200 is just a cable.

was wondering if the CD-I200 could work as well. and what are the functional differences between them.
