hey tuners,a little advise (if any) please.....2 days ago i noticed that my car audio kinda goin mad.reason for saying this is,at low normal volume(between 1-8)music playing normal,but when volume is increased,the bass output or loudness is decreased,and at a considerable volume,no bass output....but when volume is being lowered,bass starts back to play.....bass consists of....1 dd9515,powered by a cadence 2200rms amp,with 2 optima yellow top with an additional RF carbon cap 25 farads.....ohhh and a soundstream pre 5x0, and an audio control 6xs............any suggestions??????????

you getting any dimming lights or distortion?
have any voltmeter connected, check the voltage when playing/increasing volume..

i had that same problem, turned out one of my batteries was no longer holding charge.

no dimming lights or distortion,but will chek batteries still...........

Also check all your grounding points.

check your amplifier power connections.

Check the phase adjustment on your deck. I was having this problem, and it was a simple adjustment on my deck. I was running a jvc double din DVD. It took a little fiddling.

I'd second the call to have your battery checked.

Also check the power and ground feeds to the bass amp. I had a similar issue years ago that turned out to be caused by a melted inline fuse-holder on the amp's power feed.
