help needed......

I was playing my music in my van volume 15 when all of a sudden the mids just starts dropping like someone was lowing it down. And when i raise up the volume about 30 it comes back on loud and normal. What could cause that? i have a normal pioneer deck and a Power Acoustik SL4-680 4 Channel, and the mids is 2 pioneer 6inch. :?:

maybe its a faulty battery....jus a taught,.

Maybe, but it wouldn't make sense that increasing the current draw will cause him to overcome the drop-off.
