W.T.B. high current after market alternators

for MIDS alone the current draw at idle is 220 amps!

^^ ent... well if you serious about it, then I have a 200+ A high current DELCO REMY alternator if you are interested......


It will deliver round 250A at idle speed

that is still too much amperage draw on idle Anton. Something is still wrong.

how many amps you runnin? and what are the amps?

it have no way the current draw could be 220 amps at idle unless u runnin 220 amos with a current draw of 1 amp per amp at idle
i think you are mixing up your specs
and if you are just adding up fuses on amplifiers in the system then you may not need to upgrade your alternator to a high current

alright guys maybe i'm mistaken. There r seven amps in the system. They are:
2 soundstream 720.4s
2 soundstream 880.2s
1 soundstream 480.4
2 mmats 3000.1s



How do i properly calculate the current draw @idle?

Maybe we should move this to the ice forum?

give me the fuse rating one aech of the amps and the rms power rated of each amp also the load each amp is seing and weather it is running high pass or low pass

Hey mr SR dom told me he is very busy it would take about to months before he could sort me out and i dont want to wait that long we have a car show next month
and i realy need a hi out put alt my brother will be in T&T by tuesday so sniper was your number or if any body got a hi output alternator far sale

a stock alternator will be enough 2 charge yuh system jus get enough batteries 2 store d current
