what does it mean when ur protection light is on

yea tuners one of my amp protection light is on whats wrong

is it still working with the light on ? it could be a number of different things that cause an amp to go into protection .

water got into it while washing down the car

yea, open it and leave it in the sun or blow dry it
I wash out a computer motherboard and a muddy amplifier and they still working, but no power was connected to it.

Make sure NO power going to the amp until u make sure that it dry
