Suitable midrange?

looking to finish collecting items for a new system.Help me to finish my mid range please,I know it have real things out there,but I' looking for something that would nicely compliment the bass,yet be loud and most importantly clean at the same time.Sensible inputs are greatly appreciated.

Bass: 2 10'' DDs 9510 (powered by 2k5 stetsom)

Mid-range amps I have thus far:

Earthquake powerhouse 1000.2 and the 2200.4

now what do I use???

earthquakes are notable for dirty power..

if u using any processor then a pair of 10's and drivers will suffice.proper install and tuning will get the proper frequencies to the mids line.

@ rovin: mid range would be able to play both inside and tops.

reason for the stetsom: just have it there doing nothing. I have used the earthquakes before and they were not bad. If need be I could change amp use, was contemplating 4 10s and a pair of drivers for the mid-range. I would use the stetsom to play the 4 10s and get more power for the bass?

also what makes the stetsom sq?

I have the old skool power house (red), been comparing the damping factor to other amps and they're not that bad. I like to hear a good sounding mid-bass,mixed with everything else which gives that crisp sound.That's what I am looking for,so I would do the right thing and take my time before purchase.

Honestly as I said 4 10s I was looking at 4 10MD26 and a pair of N850 drivers.could be over kill

that stetsom is no good for 1 9500 far less 2 .... 1 DDM4A will play the pair good - ............

rcf 10 is all well & good but how about something that does better on d midbass region - faital pro 300 or 500 series

never used d EQ amps so i cant say yea or nay ....

hmm point taken.what's the current requirement for the M4A??

don't mind trying the faital pro.what are we looking at here 4 10s plus pair of drivers or pair of faital for the midbass,another brand for the mid-range(different brand) and a pair of drivers?

1 amp for midbass,another for mids plus drivers?

also what other alternatives are there to the M4A

I prefer the B&C 10s to the RCF,don't mind the drivers though as B&C drivers are hard to get.giving some preference to the 10B as well.just looking for a good combination that's all.

stetsom 7k wud be nice for a pair of those midbass use a pair of das10b's and rcf or b&c if u like b&c so much for mids

I would consider using the 2k5 on 4 10s for mids and get more power for my bass.im guessing that is the direction i heading?

personally i dont like blaring mids & highs , everything shud be well balanced so u cud sit\stand up & be able to listen to everything comfortably without ur ears ringing after 1 or 2 songs

to me 2 10s & 2 drivers wud be good but a carshow man will boi 6 10s & 6 drivers ...

haha,true,I think I got my answer then...I may venture into 4 10s and a pair of drivers..

now seeing that plans change wrs to amps..I am looking at around 800A of current draw.Having down the big three etc etc,what would alt,batteries be like.
