Honda Vezel - Gathers head unit

Good day did some searching on the forum about a band expander for Honda did not find any info.
I purchased one from a store in San Juan area specifically for Honda and installed, but i am not getting the frequency shift still receiving the same frequencies 70 - 99Hz. Its installed in a HONDA Vezel. Gathers head unit VXM-174VFi. Any ideas what can cause this or alternate options without changing the unit ? its pretty simple wiring +12V DC alone.

Those band expanders are a shot in the dark. The modulation happens in the background and you still fiddle on your HU to find the stations.
Change HU if possible for a stress free life.
