Amp Install

Postby Dave » November 15th, 2019, 7:29 pm

I presently have a loc on a factory headunit feeding a low power amp. Got a new amplifier that has both hi and low level input and doesn't require signal if using the low level inputs which I can.
Question is should I remove the loc and use the amp or keep the loc and use rcas?

I'd say ditch the LOC. less equipment in the chain.

Thank you Master AC Tech! I was actually leaning towards that direction. Anyone want a PAC 4 channel Loc to buy?

Keep the loc to use as a line driver to the amp

Thank you very much! Was actually going to try this as I see a preamp in the not too distant future as its only so far a stock head unit can clean up music.
