Lots of dealers are not familiar with the 2ZZGE cars. Before I imported my own, I contacted quite a few dealers, and just two knew about them. And I got lots of empty promises.
As a matter of fact, the Company I bought the car from in Japan, the big man himself did not know about the Z AeroTourer. I sent him information to support this. Then I found a car on an auction site, sent him the details, and he went and bought the car.
The ZZE-123G Fielder, Allex and Runx up to 2006 have models with the 2ZZGE.
Now and then Zulfiqar would have one on their site.
japaneseusedcars.com is a site that carry auctions all over Japan. Everyday you can pick up the ZZE-123G with the 2ZZGE engine. However if you deal directly with them, it will be expensive. Earlier this year R&R fron Couva had 2 @$130K each.
You will love the car. The car runs up to 180k in a jiffy, then the damn speedcut engages. The 6FWD manual is a lot faster though.
Why do you think Lotus Cars from England BEGGED Toyota for this engine to put in the Elise and Exige ?

The Corolla Sportivo, was introduced in England with the 2ZZGE equipped with a Supercharger. I think only 500 was sold in England. The car was about 223HP. However it was expensive, and one site that reviewed the car was saying that there were faster European Cars that sold for less.
Of course someone on this forum mentioned it is the RunX.
Blitz sells the supercharger kit for US$6980.

For me, it makes no sense buying the supercharger kit, as the end cost would be astronomical.
If I want more Toyota performance than the normally aspirated 2ZZGE I have in the Fielder, I would buy the Caldina ST246 GT Four N-Edition.

Ramish.
