According to the owner's manual it can work with Super. Tried it and it works fine but we generally use premium. Super is used when we don't feel to drive out of the area to get premium and doesn't cause any ignition rattles or anything.

It all depends.
If you know you need the low end torque, then diesel is the way.

But the gas engines perform great at the same time.

But these days, gas looking like the way forward

Actually if you going old school 1kz-te ..... Diesel will go a long way..... Lower cost of maintenance and repairs .... Just don't allow it to overheat.....

Yea
Those 1kz are bulletproof

There are some that have done 500,000kms with just regular oil changes. And maybe 1 waterpump change.

Upwards of $350 000

Why is the mileage so low?

Milage is low because its hardly driven (Female Driver)

So $350,000 is a Good price

Is maintenance in these vehicles costly?

Keep in mind a turbo for the diesel model is around 25k

$350k is a good price considering a vx costs around 955k...mileage is kinda low...make sure its genuine
