I have RORO 2010 Fielder for past 2 months. Works great, except for a slight whistling sound coming from the left front wheel area. Whistling gets less intense when slowing down and of course nothing when car stops. 3 different mechanics say it's just breeze, nothing to worry about. But seems to be getting louder as the weeks go by.
Any one come across this?

You may be hearing the CVT, but I'm not certain.

Thanks DJ Q. I'll monitor it for a few more days. Then look for a specialist mechanic to check it. This is the first car I've had with CVT. Takes a bit of getting used to.

Check your belt.
It may not be making audible noise.
May just need a little tension.

This is an update to my previous problems with my air conditioner. After visiting 2 a/c guys who straight out said is the compressor without checking anything btw a compressor is 3000 and up used I was introduced to an a/c guy who said its the solenoid valve on the compressor that needs to be changed
Solenoid-800 (Ray 399-0153)
A/c guy -600 (Curtis 720-1212)
A/c frosty once again

I asked the same thing, didn't get a response, but, I am of recent, an owner of one.

So far its working well, haven't changed anything as yet except for a general service.... hearing mixed reviews about changing the cvt fluid.... but i am looking for a competent, knowledgeable person to perform that maintenance item.

Well I'm not sure if it would face the same transmission problem as the 141.

I'm not sure what is the transmission model # of the 141, but the 161 has the K312 transmission.

But generally speaking, many individuals have reservations about toyota vehicles with CVT transmissions and it's failure rate, but they would never say what maintenance they carried out on the transmission.

There's no issue with the transmissions
There are only issues with lack of servicing.

Mine failed. I simply didn't know. Same goes for everyone else.

So far mine is goin good knock on wood..with regular changing of fluids and a qualified tech the TX can run good.my route usually is south to north at least 5 days for the week including rush hour traffic.secondly with toyo u gotta pay the price for parts.mine making 3 years by December no problems except I have two mounts to change out in the engine and changed two cradle bushings Las week.but again it's a 2008 model and that's expected for the jamming and crappyy roads we have here in tnt
