Hey guys,

This is my 1993 Toyota Corolla SE Limited. It's a Japanese import and has all of the features you would expect out of Japan, except it's now a little different from a bog standard grocery getter :)

It was completely standard when I bought it, but I've done a number of mods to it over the last 5-years of ownership so far, including a 4A-GE 20v Blacktop swap at the end of 2012. I've almost reached my goal of finding every single optional extra that was available from new, including some of the rarest items, such as the AirFantasy fragrance control system.

First, this is one of the cleanest corolla engine bays of its time! Have you even done drag or circuit with her? I must say, this car is a true treasure and well kept and no expense spared! Well done!

Thank you very much. I've never taken it to the drag strip or the track, although I would like to someday. I'm planning on eventually doing a 4A-GE 20v Blacktop swap at some point, so it should see a lot of track days after that :)

Thanks for the comments and support guys! :D

I installed a rare OEM Toyota Caldina rear lip in the weekend. The fitment wasn't 100% perfect since the lip is off a completely different model, which happens to be a wagon, but was nothing that a heat gun, a lot of patience and some urethane couldn't fix :). Got my muffler slightly moved over today because it was touching against the left hand side of the lip. Here's some photos I just took within the last hour:

I am stunned by this car. Would you be able to extract the dashboard from the L/G Touring wagons with the passenger airbag and steering wheel airbag? Perhaps obtain the sensors/module and the abs system? If you into projector HID's and LED tail-lamps then you can consider this including the reverse sensor system. The 7A-FE and 4A-GE engines are also something to consider with the rear disc brake set up.

Thanks for the compliment. Yep, that'd be possible, but airbags don't interest me. I don't like the look of the airbag on the passenger's side as it takes away the 'clean' look of the dash, and the airbag steering wheel also isn't appealing to me. Not very concerned with ABS brakes either as I plan on upgrading to AE101 Levin GT-Z twin pots in future, as well as the AE101 GT Apex rear disc brakes. Projector HID headlights are unfortunately illegal here, unless the lens housing is made for them, but I wouldn't want to change the style of my current headlights because I love the look that the BZ Touring ones give :). The 4A-GE swap is definitely on the cars 8-)

I eliminated my two front door locks today by installing some rear door handles in the front doors. Wasn't as easy as I thought it would be as one of the mounting tabs on each of the front doors didn't line up to the rear handles so I had to make a custom bracket to bridge the two points together, but the effort was all worth it in the end. Looks so much cleaner and should act as a deterrent to thieves.
