HELP: Stop fender noise when driving on highway

I have a Hilux van, and I find that when I go upwards of 100 km/hr, I get a howling noise coming somewhere from the left side fender I presume. I know this is air getting in somewhere, and that other van users have the same problem, but was hoping someone here could share their knowledge as to how to stop it, and where it could enter from...

i dont have a van but i used to get the howling noise....on the right side it was the shielding underneath ----> i had to add an extra piece (normal plastic sheet )

on the left side it was just a tiny space between the fender and bumper ---> silicone for it.
