rx70 suspension tips

lookin for a bit of guidance im currently building a rx70 wanna drift so im goona b changing out the suspension everyone is tellin me to do the s13 conversion front and back and run the skyline big brakes but before i go ahead and purchase these parts does anyone know wat else i can use that may be easier to install?


and if anyone has successfully done this conversion an can tell me about the cost to do such and a good fabricator that can do so as well

ms122 royal saloon back suspension works great has disc brakes and dif is kina strong

Is that independent ? And is it a direct bolt up or does brackets still have to b made

Ms 122 is banjo, you can use a hilux diff if you wanna do solid axle but for drifting s13 will work up easy. As for the front the s13 will work also with some mods... You can also go with the rx80 so you will get 5 hole... With those struts its very easy to use the skyline brakes..

when we were building assisns 70, we got some RX80 front struts with coilovers and camber plates, minimal fabrication had to be done to the shock tower bolt pattern and the 80 balljoint arm had to be used IIRC, but it worked, and real good too, we also did the MS122 rear diff with lowering springs and KYB gas shocks, so the whole car went 5 hole, 4wheel disc...and i believe u can retrofit an LSD into one of those diffs...

S13 convo will be a bit of work, and may even be easier to source parts....

IMO i prefer the solid axle diff than the IRS

Yup nothing beats solid axle... much easier to predict handling imo..
